At Elizabeth House, Residents will always be treated with respect.

Elizabeth house is an especially adapted care home for the elderly where we will do all we can to preserve dignity, no matter how much help is required.

We realize that we must be extra comforting and give lots of reassurance to each beautiful person we accommodate. We offer what is vitally important – Company – to those people whom we are very fortunate to share our lives with here at the home.

Each week we have activities which vary all the time. We promise it won’t just be bingo every night! Our activities are more subtle and unusual. We try to cater these happenings so that they deal with one to one conversations. We make sure we do the simple things like having a coffee and a chat.

Activities are carried out most days during the week. In all this we offer company to our residents who become our friends.

The commitment of our home for over 15 years has been to encourage residents and their families to continue family life with our support when needed. To treat the home as if it were like their own.

Full personal residential care is the core provision at Moorfield’s. Our staff are specifically trained in the care of the elderly. The right attitude to caring is regarded to be of primary importance in the selection of all our staff. A qualified nurse is on duty 24 hours a day.
