Moorfields Care Home
Moorfield’s home is very proud that it remains a very well-respected care home within the Bury area, which is part of a growing, compassionate chain of care homes which integrate with local communities.
Residents are treated as extended friends and family and form long-standing relationships with the residents and their families who put their trust in Moorfield’s.
The home provides residents with a very enjoyable care home with an atmosphere that is unsurpassable. They include resident families at all their events and have lots of fun.
There are no fixed visiting hours. Friends and relatives are free to come and go as they please. Residents may entertain their visitors in the privacy of their own room or in the communal lounges, dining room/ conservatory.
We offer traditional home cooking and welcome all suggestions for new and different menus. If a special diet is required, whether for medical or cultural reasons, we will be happy to make every effort to provide it.
We are visited by the full range of health care partitions, i.e. G.P.’s Dentists, District Nurses, Opticians, and Chiropodists etc. You are welcome to use your own practitioners wherever possible.
An easily operated passenger lift is housed to enable people who have difficulty with their mobility to access the first floor accommodation. Ramps are installed for access at ground floor level.
A hairdresser visits on a weekly basis and a manicurist service is available.
Full personal residential care is the core provision at Moorfield’s. Our staff are specifically trained in the care of the elderly. The right attitude to caring is regarded to be of primary importance in the selection of all our staff. A qualified nurse is on duty 24 hours a day.
