In November, at Holmewood Residential Home in Cockermouth, we took the time to remember the heroes who gave their tomorrow to give us our today. The residents loved creating the poppy wreath to display in our lounge. We made the wreath itself from stencils made by drawing around every resident’s hands. This was a lovely project to undertake together. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices that were made. It gave us all a new realisation that we can overcome these difficult times together. The wreath will serve to remind us remind us of this challenging year and how we came together as a family to make it through.Churchlakecare.com/holmewood-residential-home/
